"Remain Exemplary Ambassadors of Your ALMA Mater" - NAOWA President, Mrs Lagbaja Urges 2023 Graduating Class

.... As NAOWA College Asokoro Holds Graduation Ceremony and Prize-Giving Day for the Year 2022/ 2023 Academic Session, Honours Outstanding Students

The President of the Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association (NAOWA), Mrs Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, has called on the NAOWA College Asokoro graduating class of 2023 to remain worthy ambassadors of their alma mater as they embark on the next chapter of their life journey. 

Mrs Lagbaja made the call during an eventful graduation ceremony for the 2023 academic session, held at the NAOWA College Auditorium in Asokoro, Abuja on Saturday 12 August 2023.


In her address, the NAOWA President, represented by Mrs Sylvia Akpor, urged the graduating students to uphold the ideals of the College as they move on to the next phase of life, encouraging them to embrace the virtues of continuous learning, entrepreneurship, and responsible citizenship.

Commending the concerted efforts of the College's management, faculty, and administrative staff, the NAOWA President underscored the pivotal role education plays in nation-building. 

She thereafter applauded the dual significance of the event which marked both the 10th year anniversary of NAOWA College's establishment in 2013 and her inaugural graduation ceremony as the 23rd President of NAOWA.

A special highlight of the ceremony was the prize-giving segment, which celebrated exceptional academic and extracurricular achievements. The occasion also witnessed captivating cultural displays by the students, the cutting of the graduation cake, unveiling of the College year book and group photographs.

In attendance at the event were the representative of the NAOWA President, members of the NAOWA National Executive Committee, the College's esteemed management and staff, parents of the graduands, invited dignitaries and well-wishers, amongst others.
