Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla has assumed office as the new Chief of Naval Staff.
He succeeds Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo who retired after over 35 years of service. The outgoing Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo handed over all the symbols of the Navy to Ogalla at a brief ceremony held at the Naval Headquarters, Abuja, on Friday, June 23.
Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla was born on 20 December 1968 in Enugu Ezike Igbo Eze north LGA Enugu State, Nigeria.
