Troops Foil Kidnap Attack Along Busy Yankara - Kucheri - Tsafe road in Zamfara

Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji have foiled a kidnap operation by terrorists along the busy Yankara - Kucheri - Tsafe road in Zamfara State. 

Intelligence sources disclosed to the YATAB Network that the gallant troops stormed the highway following actionable intelligence reports on the activities of the terrorists in the general area. 

Sources told the YATAB Network, an NGO committed to the anti-terrorism and banditry campaign in Africa, that a large number of terrorists had invaded and blocked the Yankara- Kucheri - Tsafe road in the wee hours of Monday April 3 Zamfara state, with the intentions to kidnap road users. 

However, normalcy was restored when troops of Operation Hadarin Daji stormed the area and engaged them in a fierce firefight, forcing them to abandon their nefarious mission. The road is now open for motorists with troops patrolling the general area.
