The participants of Army War College Nigeria Course 7 /2023 were on study tour to the Headquarters Joint Task Force South South Operation DELTA SAFE today Tuesday 28 March 2023 in Yenagoa Baylesa State.
The team leader Brig Gen SS Diwa while stating the purpose of the study tour said it is aimed to aquiant the participants with the various conducts of several operations in curbing the oil theft, pipeline vandalism and other criminality in the Niger Delta region.
In his remarks, the representative of Commander Joint Task Force South South Operation DELTA SAFE Commodore Danjuma Ndanusa commended the college for choosing the Headquarters for its study tour stating that such will broaden the knowledge of the participants on the fight against oil theft, pipeline vandalism, sea piracy, sea robbery, kidnapping and other criminality in Niger Delta Region.
Commodore Ndanusa added that the OPDS operation have yielded a positive results which is evident in the increase of the Nation crude oil production recently.
