The Commander made this remark during the award presentation and dish opening ceremony organized by Bassa Women For Peace and Unity Initiative in Jos.
Media Information Officer OPSH, Capt OA James said this in a statement noted that the Chief of Staff Operation SAFE HAVEN was represented by Brigadier General Amos Egbejule.
The commander said the association is known for promoting peace, social cohesion and helping the society to advance rapidly. He affirmed that their contributions to national security are worthy of note and highly commendable.
General Ali further said the motto of the organization is symbolic to the mission of Operation SAFE HAVEN which has been achieved to a larger extent through kinetic and non-kinetic means.
The Commander honored with the Peace Ambassador Award in recognition of his tireless and relentless effort in promoting and building peace in Bassa LGA and Plateau state at large, said the award was a testament to our commitment to continually discharge our responsibilities in accordance with laid down rules and regulations of the country and that of the Armed forces of Nigeria.
The Commander who dedicated the award to Officers and men of 3 Division Nigerian Army and Operation SAFE HAVEN, urged the women to strengthen the relationship among themselves such that they could all speak with one voice. He advised the women to support security agencies especially Operation SAFE HAVEN with timely and credible information to completely decimate the few criminals left in our neighborhood.
