Nigeria Police Launch Manhunt For Killers of Police Constable In Enugu

The Enugu State Police Command said that an investigation has commenced on the killing of a police constable identified as Christopher Ukwuaba, at his residence in Onitsha Enugu in the Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Police Spokesman in Enugu, Daniel Ndukwe, who confirmed the unfortunate incident, said the assailants forced his door open and shot him at close range, killed in his bedroom by two gunmen. 

Ndukwe said, investigation has started to find out more about the incident and arrest the perpetrators.

"We're in receipt of a report on the murder of the said person by yet-to-be-identified armed men. Investigation and manhunt of the culprits have been initiated, please," he said.

SpyeTV News reports that, some gunmen reportedly killed a police constable identified as Christopher Ukwuaba, at his residence in Onitsha Enugu in the Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The assailants also stole his money and mobile phone.

A family source on Monday said the deceased was killed on Friday night in the presence of one of his children.
