NAOWA Trains Barracks Youths on ICT

The Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association (NAOWA) says it will carry out an intensive training in information technology (Infotech) to empower the barracks youths in Abuja.

The NAOWA President, Mrs Salamatu Yahaya said this at a 2 Day interactive session with barrack youth at the Martha Bamaiyi Multipurpose Hall in NAOWA Model Nursery and Primary School Asokoro on 30th Sept and 1st Oct 2022.

The interactive session is a prelude to a 6 week intensive infotech training that NAOWA has scheduled for barracks youth and with the first stream set to commence from 4th Oct - 8th Nov 2022 at the NAOWA Institute of Management and Technology (NIMTA) in Mambilla Barracks Asokoro, Abuja.

The NAOWA President and other NAOWA Executive members advised the youth to eschew, dedication, discipline, respect and decorum in the course of the training. 

The interaction also afforded the youth to express their minds, worries, challenges, experiences and areas they are ready to contribute positively in the activities of NAOWA and the nation in general.

She said the first stream was set to commence from Monday to Nov. 8 at the NAOWA Institute of Management and Technology (NIMTA) in Mambilla Barracks Asokoro.

The NAOWA President advised the youth to show dedication, discipline, respect and decorum during the training.

According to her, the interaction also afforded the youth to express their minds, worries, challenges, experiences and areas they were ready to contribute positively in the activities of NAOWA and the nation in general.

The highlights of the interactive session included cutting of the Independence Day Cake.
