Niger Republic: Defence Minister, Two Army Generals Visit Battalion Quarter General

The Minister of National Defense, accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Armies Division General Salifou MODY and the Chief of Staff for the Army General Bigade Abou Tagué, paid a visit this Wednesday to the Quarter Battalion r General (BQG). 

Immediately after receiving a warm welcome from the camp servicemen and their wives, a cadres meeting was held in the office of the said Battalion Commander. 

The delegation then visited the camp in full. First the bachelors camp, then the married camp, then the Maternal Child Protection (PMI) and maternity camp which also houses a large number of civilian population, the arms and food store and lastly the infrastructures of children Transport Battalion.

After these various visits, the Minister of National Defense listened with interest to the grievances of the wives of the military in the HQ Battalion Camp grievances he promised to address whenever is possible. 

The delegation finally made it to the NAF Principal Music Company. At this stage, the Minister conducted a guided tour before having a lengthy exchange with the elements about their working conditions. 

At this level, he reminded them of the important role that music plays both in the morale of the troop and in the execution of certain military activities as civilians, in times of peace and in combat.
