Sport Champions are made in a way they strive to make a statement for themselves by doing special things that ordinary people wouldn’t do, the security personnel in sport were not left out.
DSP Loveth- Patra Ekufu had on Wednesday 3rd August 2022 presented her four belts to the Inspector General of Police IGP during the monthly IGP conference with all Commissioner of Police and other senior officers at Force Headquarters Abuja.
During the presentation, the Inspector General of Police IGP said DSP Loveth- Patra Ekufu deserves to be celebrated not only by Nigeria Police force only whom she serves but also Nigerians, Africans and worth’s going into the Guinness Book of World Record.
"This is another history made as she became the first female in Africa and Nigeria to win a MMA world championship title," he said.
Some Nigerians are unaware that, Loveth- Patra Ekufu is a DSP in the Nigeria Police who has represented the police force in various sporting events in Nigeria, and overseas.
In 2018, Loveth-patra’s first professional fight won a title fight and she fought Cynthia and it ended up in a draw due to Cynthia sustaining injury in fourth round.
Lovethpatra won the only gold medal for Nigeria and became the first woman in Nigeria and Africa to win a kickboxing world championship title. She has competed in different events Clinching gold medals in her various performances.

Dignitaries at the presentation event were the representatives of the Armed Forces of Nigeria for Kickboxing, Lieutenant Commander Funmi C Fapectus, senior officers of the Nigeria Police Force, and other government officials.
