Troops of 25 Task Force Brigade of the ‘Operation Hadin Kai have repelled attack by Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.
It was gathered that the terrorists attacked troops formation in the outskirt of Damboa-Biu Road. They came on six Gun-trucks and motorcycles but did not succeed in causing any havoc.
According to an intelligence officer, he said the troops from the brigade promptly responded and push them back. No casualty recorded so far.
Zagazola has reported that the early hours of the day, the insurgents planted an IED around Mandaragarau in Biu LGA, targeting at troops.
Unfortunately, it was a Civilian Vehicle that stepped on it, killing some passengers while others were wounded.
