The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said it will only evacuate Nigerians documented with Nigerian embassies in Poland, Romania and Hungary.
The ministry urged those yet to register with the embassy to do so, saying the documentation was a mandatory requirement for air-lifting stranded Nigerians

The ministry’s spokesperson, Francisca Omayuli, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
The statement read, “Intending evacuees should kindly note that only persons documented with the Nigerian embassies will be eligible for evacuation.”
“Nigerians willing to return home were advised to get documented as it is mandatory before evacuation.
The FG on Wednesday revealed that it had perfected plans to begin the evacuation of Nigerians fleeing troubled Ukraine.”
