Chike Akunyili, husband to late former Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Professor Dora Akunyili has been murdered by unidentified gunmen.
Although report is scanty about the circumstances of his death, it was however said that he was killed while on his way to attending a memorial in honour of his late wife, Dora Akunyili in Abuja.
But a source close to the family, who preferred anonymity, has confirmed the killing but declined further comments.
