The Chief of Army Staff’s combined second and third quarters conference 2021 is ongoing at Army Headquarters Command Officers Mess 1, Asokoro, Abuja.
A lecture will be delivered by Maj. Gen. LP Ngubane titled; "Leadership Development as a Panacea for Accomplishing Mission in a Joint Environment.”
There will also be presentation of souvenirs and updates on Nigerian Army operations activities.
Speaking at the event, the Chief of Policy and Plans, the conference is focused on all accessing all the Nigerian Army activities that has taken place in the 1st and 3rd quarters of the year.
"There had been a lots of activities of banditry, terrorism and IPOB criminal activities in South East, herdsmen attacks in all the geopolitical zones of the Country", he said.
The conference aims to review Nigerian Army current operations and to brainstorm on possible ways to solve the security challenges facing the country.
