Raheem Akingbolu Gives Back to Community to Celebrate 50

Veteran journalist, Raheem Akingbolu recently turned 50. In appreciation of his attaining the ‘golden’ age, the media guru gathered family members, friends and colleagues to his Aramoko Ekiti native home in Ekiti State on Thursday, July 22 where he donated cash and others items to the needy and the community.

The celebrated media icon held a birthday lecture with the theme: “The art of giving back; the role of individuals in nation-building”.


The celebrant did not stop at assembling audience for the lecture, but also seized the occasion to renovate a part of his alma mater, Christ School, Ado-Ekiti as he honoured the memories of his late parents and former teachers in giving to Christian and Islamic worship centres.
