President of Women Arise, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin today 1st april, 2016 led top nigerian celebrities like actress Foluke Daramola-Salako and music art, RuggedMan on a campaign walk to the University of Lagos (UNILAG) to end rape and sexual harassment by lecturers and students.
The walk against rape and sexual harassment organized by the Moremi female students’ Hostel was themed “Silence Is Not Golden” and took off at the Moremi hostel on the campus. The walk went through major male and female hostels on the campus with flyers and messages discouraging acts of sexual harassment. The walk terminated at the office of Dean of Students Affairs, where the sensitization agents were received and addressed by the Dean, Prof. Tunde Babawale.
