Organisers of the annual Best of Nollywood Awards are set to announce the hosting state for this year’s edition of the award.
In a statement by the Executive Producer of the awards, Seun Oloketuyi, BON said the unveiling of the hosting state for this year will come up on Wednesday, July 29, 2015.
‘The host governor, a product of Great Ife, has promised Nollywood stars and stakeholders especially our nominees a super splendid time in the state. We can’t wait,’ he said.
The process of submission of entries for the awards is still ongoing and industry players can drop their works at the designated locations in Lagos.
The award was hosted by former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi in 2014 but the event was not without controversy over reportedly shabby treatment of actors and others. The issue pitched actor and filmmaker, Elvis Chucks and Oloketuyi against each other.
