Meet UNILAG's 21-yr- old best student... with 4.96 CGPA


A 21-year-old student, Akinpelumi Korede, has emerged as
the best students at the 2014 convocation ceremonies of the
University of Lagos (UNILAG).
Korede graduated from the institution's Department of
Chemical Engineering with a stunning Cumulative Grade Point
Average (CGPA) of 4.96, topping the list of 125 students who
graduated with First Class honours in the session.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Rahamon Ade
Bello, announced Korede's feat on Wednesday in speech at
the institution’s Multipurpose Hall on Day II of the
convocation ceremonies.

Korede will be one of the happiest persons when the Vice
Chancellor announced that s tudents who scored at least 4.00
CGPA will be given automatic employment » as Graduate
Assistants.
He will automatically skip the job search.
