After the defence headquarters yesterday said Nigerian troops
yesterday rescued over 200 girls and 93 women from Sambisa
forest, a lot of Nigerians had high hopes that after screening
and profiling the girls, some of them will turn out to be part
of the Chibok girls who have been missing since last year
April. However, the spokesperson for the army, Sani Usman, a
colonel, has told Reuters news agency the rescued girls were
not, from Chibok. They are not the Chibok girls, he said.
