when she talked about her husband’s battle with
cancer, and after watching her discuss the ordeal
in a new interview, you might end up crying, too.
Poor Celine Dion! The 46-year-old has been so strong in
taking care of her husband, René Angélil , 73, since his health
declined due to throat cancer last year.
The incomparable diva has worked hard to help her family during this very trying
time, but it certainly has taken its toll. In an interview, she
openly discussed the burden of taking care of the love of her
life, even having to feed him through a tube.

In a heart-wrenching interview with ABC’s Good Morning
America, Celine talked how she’s been at the forefront of
Rene’s recovery during the past year. While wiping away
tears, Celine talked about how Rene’s throat cancer has made
it difficult for him to eat.
“He can’t use his mouth. He can’t eat. So I feed him. He has
a feeding tube. I have to feed him three times a day,” she
said.

Rene was first diagnosed with throat cancer in 1999 but
recovered after treatment. A second cancer diagnosis required
a tumor to be removed from his throat in Dec.2013, reports
Entertainment Tonight .
Our thoughts are with Celine and her family. Cancer is so
horrible and we hope for a full recovery for Rene.

Cancer-Stricken Husband
Celine began a three-year residency at Caesars Palace in Las
Vegas back in 2011, quickly becoming one of the big
entertainment draws of Sin City. But when her husband’s
health declined due to his fight against cancer in Aug. 2014,
Celine suspended all her show biz activities, proving that
family comes first. But fans can now rejoice. Celine
announced that she will start performing again when she
returns to Caesers Palace in Aug. 2015.
