Students of Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), are having a swell time as their fourth consecutive Students’ Week is underway at the institution’s Ogba Campus in Lagos.
The week-long event which began on Monday has drawn celebrities from the entertainment industry as well as the corporate world to ensure that there is no dull moment throughout.
According to Matthew Ojebola, Chairman, planning committee for the event, the opportunity to give the students a breathing space away from academic activities, necessitated the event.

“This year’s edition tagged, ‘unusual is our slang’, is a way of telling everybody that we are doing something unusual here,” Ojebola said.
“And from what we have seen so far, it is quite far from the norm and we are hoping that the climax will be even better”.
