Nigerian broadcast journalist veteran, Funke Treasure Durodola who isn’t shy when it comes to issues regarding Women in journalism has resumed office as the General Manager of the The Federal Radio Corporation Of Nigeria FRCN, Radio 1.
The elegant stallion who was busy writing and gathering information about challenges women in journalism are facing for her forth coming Book isn’t new to broadcasting.
Having served as a workaholic news reading and editor, head of presentation in Radio Nigeria for about 15years, she brings her leadership role experience to her new office and has urged her staff at New Radio 107 to be up and doing as the centre was primarily set up to promote qualitative broadcasting in Nigerian through educational programmes, public enlightens shows, sport updates and News updating. She stressed that the staff is the backbone of the organization and enjoined all to take their responsibilities seriously and be ready to go the extra mile whenever the need arises.
