Report reaching me,after making several calls has confirmed that Nollywood star actress Funke Akindele has found joy again.
After a season of sadness that almost ended her career, Fondly called Jenifa, she parted with her ex-husband Kehinde Oloyede Almaroof last year after a messy scandal.
As we speak, Funke Akindele has found herself in the hand of an older lover who is currently spoiling her silly.
Though my source didn’t tell me where the guy live but from what I hear he is not based in Nigeria.
My source further told me that a friend introduced Funke Akindele to him in November last year.
In Another development, Funke Akindele has refuted media (Both online and prints) claims that she has found true love and that she has even moved in with him.The Nollywood actress via her representative confirms that a story circulating online and print that she has found a new love who moved her into a private estate in Lekki, Lagos, is unfounded and untrue.
Funke spoke thorough her representative that, "That Funke has since moved to her Lekki apartment quietly and will be “vainglorious to make it a media issue, just as it is condescending to claim any imaginary lover paid for the apartment
Funke’s rep went on to say that “the 37 year old superstar appreciates the concern of fans and a section of the media on this matter of the heart, pleads for understanding as she continues to concentrate her creative energy on her career and immediate family.”
In Funke’s words, “In the past few months I have enjoyed tremendous love from my fans, family and brands that I represent. I cherish every second I get to spend with my colleagues on sets because it has been rewarding. I look forward to many more precious moments in the years ahead.” she says.
Funke also poured cold water on the report that there are moves to reconcile with her ex-hubby Kehinde Oloyede. Calling it “false”.
She urges the media to endeavour to follow proper journalistic procedures and ethical concerns in matters like this.
