Stevie Abiola Taylor, was born in the 70's into a movie making family, where he imbibed the movie culture. His father John Abimbola Taylor was a foremost television producer with the then NTV, now NTA. His mother was an English literature teacher, and also does a bit of stand up comedy. While his siblings equally stand out in the entertainment industry.
Stevie could have been said to tap from these enviable source of artistic background, asides from his training in South Africa and the United Kingdom as a cinematographer.

'Ejigbojo' a medical sattire with the theme "The anticipation of death is more painful than death itself" delves on the playwrights state of health at the moment. A movie he claims would challenge the limits of African movie production. With a carefully selected cast and a crew that shared the same vision.
Taking the pains to treat his colour in the Republic of Benin, and sound in far away Senegal. Stevie Abiola Taylor, whom friends and close associates describe as a near perfectionist is leaving no stone unturned in making Ejigbojo a masterpiece.
