Report reaching us indicates that, a bomb explosion has occurred at the motor park in Nyanya, a surburb in the Federal Capital Territory. The explosion was said to have occurred at the motor park of Abuja Urban Mass Transport Agency, operators of the popular El-Rufai buses.
Residents of the area most of whom work in the city centre of the nation’s capital had gathered to board the buses to their various places of work when the explosion occurred. As at the time of this report, several of the El_Rufai buses were said to be on fire.
Scores of the passengers are reportedly killed while several others sustained several degrees of injuries.As at the time of this report, several of the El_Rufai buses were said to be on fire.
