Fetish Objects in Lawmaker's House:Ondo High Court Upheld Suspension Of Lawmaker

An Ondo state high Court siting in Akure has upheld the suspension of the lawmaker representing ose constituency Yeye Fola Olaseinde by the state house of Assembly. The state chief judge, Olaseinde kumuyi who presided over the court after decising on the 5 issues formulated for determination said the suspended lawmaker failed to substantially prove that she was not given a fair hearing before approaching the court. While stressing that her offence was not a private one because she was a public officer, justice olaseinde described the case as lacking in merit and the burden of proof lie on her. In his reaction, counsel for the suspended lawmaker, tunde osho as well as the lawmaker said she would appeal the judgement until she gets justice. It would be recalled that Yeye olaseinde was suspended by her colleagues for on the 9th of june this year for bringing embarrassment to the house after fetish objects were found in her apartment.
