Sweet November: Happy New Month!!!

With the plethora of apt images strewn across my screen, this is what I settled for:

Muahahahaha! I'm annoying, I've been told.
You know there's nothing like the beginning of something new. The first day of a new month isn't just another day of the year. Nuh-uh! A new month offers renewal, a fresh start, some form of reinvigoration (or maybe it's all in my mind...). Hmmm... Anyway, at the start of every month, season, year, era and whatever else, I set a goal to achieve at the end of the said period. It's always just one goal because I find that I get overambitious with goal setting so I pace myself, one goal at a time.
Lallations aside, I have set a goal like no other for myself for this Sweet November: Junk-free Month. The irony. Why is this important? I am living proof that you are what you eat. I like good food but can undoubtedly subsist without it. Sugar on the other hand, is me! I get animated and musical just at the thought of something sweet. If ever there is/was/will be a goddess for the damned sweet-toothed subjects that roam this earth, she is/was/would be me! That's all I eat. Sugar, chocolate, and everything nice.
So I am indeed what I eat being rotund in the middle and all. Hence the desperate need for a junk free month. And this inhibition includes anything I consume uncontrollably. That's my new month's resolution and I can tell you day 1 was a resounding success even though I kept eyeing every corner shop and reaching out to every Haribo star mix I passed by. There seemed to be so many today. They called me 'Andiva' and now they turn their backs on me! *wails*
But I, I will fight the good fight, run the race, keep the faith, etc and shall be resilient if need be... ;-)
