The late founder of Christ Apostolic Church (WOSEM), Prophet Timothy Obadare's Corpse has arrived Akure the Ondo state Capital but he would be buried in Ilesha Osun State. One of his children, Abraham Obadare informed us that the late prophet corpse has arrived Akure but will be buried in Ilesha, Osun State.
"We want him to be honoured but not idolized. The burial will be in such a way that people can go to the place and pray and for posterity as the case may be.”However, the Chairman, Media Sub-Committee of the burial ceremony, Pastor Michael Awo shed light on the burial plans. “I can tell you categorically that Baba would be buried in Ilesha Osun State. The choice of Ilesha was arrived at because that was the deceased’s last wish.He told us before he died that he would love to be buried in Ilesha. Although it was the special wish of Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko that he should be buried on Ondo State because he stared and ended his ministry there, we have to honour the humble wish of the revered man of God. You know he was one of the spiritual fathers of the governor. In fact, it was the wish of the people of Ondo State that he should be buried in Akure but we can’t go against the wish of the deceased. Reports say,, both Ondo and Osun State governments are playing vital roles in the burial. Information available to pyemedia revealed that there was a week-long activity penciled down for the multi-million naira burial of the Prophet. It would be recalled that, the 83 year-old renowned blind Prophet Obadare passed on around 4p.m on Thursday, March 31, 2013 in Akure, Ondo State. Rest in peace my father in The Lord.
