It seems that texting is no longer a trend and has become the social norm."You want to go out tonight?".Simple text that men feel is harmless,but its something that drives women nuts. It is getting on the nerves of women everywhere which leaves ladies wondering,"why do men text instead of call".

1.Its Quick and Easy: If its comes to simple things like what time the two of you are meeting up,or where to go for dinner,shooting off a text takes a lot less than time and effort than an actual phone call. Many men are busy executives and don't have time to hold an over the phone conversation. sending a text takes less than a minute.
2.They are coping women: A few men gave pyeworld their opinions on why they opt to text now-a-days rather than calling, and a common response we received was that they are simple following what they see women do.Basketmouth ,a comedian,claims that it seems like the only way to ask women out is through text messaging, because no one wants to talk on the phone anymore. That's why majority of guys on facebook requested for there female friends private phone number in order to woo the lady if possible.
3.Fear of Rejection: Just like women,men fear rejection,and what's more embarrassing than making the effort to pick up the phone and call a girl,just to be turned down?many women seem to forget how intimidating dating is,especially for guys. Telephone calls with someone you are not comfortable with just yet are just as intimidating you text somebody you have the time to thinK of what you are going to say,how you are going to word it, and the advantage of looking it over to make sure everything sound right.
4.They don't know it bothers you: if you allow men to continue texting, and you don't say anything about it, then why would they feel anything needs to change? There are easy ways to get your point across,without being too direct.
