Troops of Sector 2, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have rescued three kidnapped victims during a security operation in Sakaba Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
The rescue operation was conducted on October 24, 2026, with two victims recovered at Makuku Village and another at Dankolo Village.
The rescued victims were identified as Aisha Aminu, 46; Sumayya Aminu, 27; and Nana Abbas, 15.
Following their rescue, the victims were handed over to the District Head of Dirindaji, Alhaji Usman Muhammad, through the Chairman of Sakaba Local Government Area.
The operation was concluded successfully without any reported incident.
Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA reaffirmed their commitment to protecting lives and property while sustaining efforts to tackle insecurity across the North-West.
