The Nigerian Army has warned the public against a fake recruitment publication circulating on social media, claiming that applications for the 92 Regular Recruitment Intake have commenced.
In a statement, the Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations, Directorate of Recruitment, Captain AU Hammanga, described the publication as false and urged members of the public to disregard it.
The Army said it has established official procedures for announcing recruitment exercises and related activities, stressing that the public would be duly informed through its verified communication channels once the portal for the 92 Regular Recruitment Intake is formally opened.
The Nigerian Army further reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and professionalism in its recruitment processes, while cautioning prospective applicants against fraudsters who may exploit the fake publication to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
