The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has debunked a fake recruitment update circulating on some social media platforms, warning members of the public to disregard the misleading publication.
In a statement, the Service clarified that the purported recruitment information did not originate from the Nigeria Customs Service and should not be regarded as authentic.
The NCS urged Nigerians to verify all recruitment-related information through its official communication channels, stressing that only announcements published on its verified platforms should be trusted.
The Service also advised the public to remain vigilant against misinformation and avoid sharing unverified content that could mislead job seekers and other citizens.
To ensure access to accurate information, the Nigeria Customs Service directed the public to its verified social media platforms:
- Facebook: Nigeria Customs Service
- Instagram: @customsng
- X (formerly Twitter): @customsng
- Threads: @customsng
- TikTok: @customsng
The Service reiterated its commitment to transparency and urged the public to verify information before sharing it, particularly on issues relating to recruitment and employment opportunities.
