The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has congratulated the Olowo of Owo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye II, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, commending the monarch’s unwavering commitment to peace, security and community development.
The IGP was represented at the celebration on Sunday by the Commissioner of Police, Ondo State Command, CP Felix Ohagwu, who conveyed the Inspector-General’s warm felicitations and best wishes to the revered traditional ruler.
Speaking during the event, the Commissioner of Police praised the Olowo of Owo for his consistent efforts in promoting peace, strengthening community engagement and supporting security initiatives in Owo and its surrounding communities.
He noted that the monarch has continued to play a vital role in fostering effective collaboration between traditional institutions and the Nigeria Police Force in the fight against crime and criminality within the area.
The Nigeria Police Force, through the Inspector-General, congratulated His Imperial Majesty on attaining the milestone age of 60 and prayed for his continued good health, wisdom and a peaceful, prosperous reign.
