Troops of Operation UDO KA have arrested a suspected kidnapper informant during a raid in Abia State.
A military source said the arrest was made at about 8:00 a.m. on June 14 when troops of Sector 1, operating under Operation CRUSH, raided an uncompleted building at Afara Isaimai in Umuahia North Local Government Area.
The suspect was apprehended during the operation and is currently in custody for further interrogation and necessary action.
The source added that the raid forms part of ongoing intelligence-led operations aimed at dismantling kidnapping networks and criminal hideouts in the South-East region.
