The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of the next stage of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, inviting qualified applicants to proceed for physical screening and document verification.

In a statement issued by the Secretary to the Board, Major General Abdulmalik Jibril (Rtd.), the Board said applicants who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in November 2025 are required to check their application status through the official recruitment portal.

According to the statement, candidates are to visit the recruitment portal from June 15 to June 20, 2026, using the application number generated during registration to verify whether they have been shortlisted for the next phase of the exercise.

The Board explained that shortlisted applicants will be required to upload their credentials and select their preferred date and venue for the physical screening exercise. Candidates were advised to carefully follow all instructions provided on the portal to avoid disqualification.

CDCFIB reiterated that the recruitment exercise remains entirely free of charge and warned applicants against paying money to individuals, groups, or organisations claiming to facilitate shortlisting, venue allocation, document uploads, access to screening centres, or final selection.

The Board also urged members of the public to disregard fraudulent recruitment messages, fake links, and unauthorized persons posing as representatives of the recruitment exercise.

It noted that all official information regarding the recruitment process would only be communicated through the CDCFIB recruitment portal and other approved communication channels.

The Board reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process in line with established guidelines and regulations governing public service recruitment.
