The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, underscored his people-centric leadership style during an operational visit to Bauchi State, where he engaged directly with frontline personnel.
In a move that went beyond routine briefings, the CAS interacted closely with troops, sharing a meal with them while conducting an on-the-spot assessment of their welfare, feeding arrangements, and living conditions. The engagement provided an avenue for firsthand feedback from personnel and reinforced trust and morale among the ranks.
Air Marshal Aneke reiterated that the welfare of personnel remains a top priority under his leadership, even as the Nigerian Air Force sustains a high operational tempo in defence of the nation.
