The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has formally submitted a petition to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), calling for the immediate removal or resignation of the Commission’s Chairman over allegations of partisan conduct, gross misconduct, constitutional breaches, and actions said to threaten Nigeria’s multi-party democratic system.
The petition, officially received by INEC, was submitted through the National Secretary of the party, marking a significant escalation in the ADC’s criticism of the electoral umpire’s leadership.
