The Kano State Government has formally awarded Naval Building and Construction Company Limited (NBCCL) the contract for the construction of a 4.1-kilometre standard road in Dambatta Local Government Area. The official signing of the agreement took place at the Ministry of Works during a working visit by the Managing Director/CEO of NBCCL, Rear Admiral BH Sabo, and his delegation.
Following the contract signing, officials of the Ministry of Works and the NBCCL team immediately moved to Dambatta for the official handing and taking over of the project site.
Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly received by the Chairman of Dambatta LGA, community leaders, and residents who expressed delight over the project. They described the road construction as a pivotal development that will ease movement, boost commerce, and improve access to essential services within the area.
Reaffirming NBCCL’s commitment to excellence, Rear Admiral Sabo assured the community that the company will deliver a high-quality, durable road built to meet modern engineering and safety standards. He emphasized that NBCCL will deploy its best expertise, resources, and professionalism to ensure timely and efficient execution.
In his remarks, the Chairman of Dambatta LGA pledged the full cooperation and support of the Local Government throughout the construction period. He noted that the partnership will greatly advance socio-economic development in the community.
The 4.1km road, upon completion, is expected to significantly improve mobility, reduce travel time, and stimulate local economic activities.
NBCCL reiterated its dedication to providing infrastructure that connects communities and promotes sustainable development across Nigeria.
