Operation Fasan Yamma: NAF Airstrikes Neutralize 95 Terrorists in Niger State

In a major success for Nigeria’s ongoing counterterrorism efforts, the Air Component of Operation Fasan Yamma has neutralized no fewer than 95 terrorists in a precision airstrike conducted around Ragada and Warari villages in Rijau Local Government Area of Niger State.

Credible intelligence sources confirmed to SpyeTV that Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets intercepted a large group of terrorists traveling on Tuesday at approximately 1500 hours. The militants were reportedly moving from Zamfara State, through Kebbi, en route to targets in Niger State.

Intelligence gathered revealed that the group was made up of approximately 108 heavily armed terrorists on motorcycles, advancing toward the Warari and Rijau areas. The NAF jets engaged the group between Ragada and Warari, at coordinates 10° 54′ 1.51” N and 5° 25′ 4.96” E.

Following the airstrike, only 13 motorcycles were reported to have escaped the assault, with the remaining terrorists and equipment successfully neutralized.

Residents of Makuku, Warari, and Ragada villages have expressed their relief and appreciation for the swift and decisive action taken by the Nigerian Air Force and the federal government. They commended the continued efforts in curbing banditry and other forms of criminality in the northwest region.

An intelligence officer in the region also corroborated the incident, reaffirming the accuracy of the operation and the importance of ongoing intelligence-led military actions.
