Oyo State governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has appointed Dr Aderemi Ayodele as a member of the Oyo State Advisory Council, while he also appointed CP Ayodele Sonubi (Rtd) as Executive Adviser (Rule of Law Enforcement).
Dr Ayodele’s appointment takes immediate effect while CP Sonubi’s appointment takes effect from April 1, 2025.
Special Adviser (Media) to Oyo State Governor, Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju noted in a press statement that the appointments were announced in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi.
Dr Ayodele is a former chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission.
He had previously served as the Chairman of Ibadan North-West Local Government.
CP Sonubi (Rtd) is the immediate past Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command.
Governor Makinde charged the new appointees to discharge their duties with commitment, dedication and loyalty to the state.
