About 31 Equatorial Guinea Althetes as arrived Nigeria for 2nd African Military Games Abuja as five (5) Nations that registered for Male football and two (2) nations for Female football 

AMGA Football coordinator, Brig. Gen Fawole made this known to SpyeTV News Abuja after a brief meeting with Africa Military Games Sub Technical Committee for football members on  the arrangements made for football. 

According to AMGA Football coordinator, a country however withdrew from the female football. Thus Female football remain only one country. Consequently, the draw/fixture for the male football was discussed by the member. 

He added that, the AMGA Sub Technical Committee for football members agreed that the match should not be more than 3 days allotted to football and Female team should also be arranged to play.

Secretary of the AMGA Football Wing Commander AK Yahaya in a statement said Committee members at the end of the meeting reached decision that, NFF TD was to ensure that 3 Nations are to be on bye during the Fixture and TD is to ensure that host nation is on automatic bye.

AMGA Football coordinator was to arrange Army, Navy and Air Force Female team to play during the event and to arrange coordinating conference for all football participating nation.

TD was to ensure that there is pre match meeting during the AMGA Football competition, AMGA Football coordinator was to arrange for another meeting on 20 Nov 24

At the meeting were Brig Gen Fawole AMGA Football coordinator, Brig Gen Musa OSMA Football coordinator, Wg Cdr Yahaya  Nig Football Team Leader, Capt Solomon  AMGA Football Asst, Mr Olatunde NFF TD and Secretary of the AMGA Football Wing Commander AK Yahaya.
