A notorious kidnap kingpin, David Okpala Okpolowu, widely recognized as "2 Baba," notorious for terrorizing Rivers State and neighboring areas, has reportedly succumbed to injuries sustained in an airstrike conducted by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in Ahoada Forest, Rivers State.
The airstrike, which was part of a joint operations with the Nigeria Police in Port Harcourt, was initiated based on credible intelligence indicating the presence of "2 Baba" and his criminal gang hiding in the swampy forest.
Credible sources comfirmed to SpyeTV Mews that the NAF deployed its Intelligence assets as well as the Nigerian Police to monitor the criminals' activities for several days before executing the strike.
The source also revealed that the NAF carried out a precise strike on the target, resulting in the complete obliteration of the gathering.
Furthermore, the explosion's mushroom nature and the instant ignition of the impact point, despite the swampy conditions of the forest, strongly suggest the possible presence of a fuel substance.
The assessment also revealed individuals scrambling in various directions. Reliable human intelligence confirmed that "2 Baba" was among the survivors who sustained severe injuries from the airstrike but succumbed to his injuries at another location. Efforts the reach the NAF Spokesperson for confirmation were unsuccessful.
