Commander, Military Operation Delta Safe Harps for Synergy to Fight Criminality and Avoid Casualities

 

The Commander 6 Division Garrison/ Commander Sector 3 Joint Task Force(JTF) South-South (SS) Operation DELTA SAFE (OPDS), Brig Gen Edet Effiong has helped for more  synergy among security agencies, which according to him is critical to the success or otherwise of military operations. 

He made this known when the  Commander 115 Special Operations Group(SOG), Nigerian Air Force(NAF), Group Captain Ali Idris paid him a courtesy call in his office at Bori Camp, Port Harcourt.  

6 Division spokesperson, Major Danjuma Jonah Danjuma in his press statement stated that Brig Gen Effiong noted the significance of synergy between the Nigerian Army(NA) and NAF, especially in the fight against criminalities. 

He further added that jointness and synergy is one way to avoid casualties as all the Services need each other to be able to  operate effectively.

Earlier in his remarks, the Commander 115 SOG said his visit was necessary to familiarize himself with military formations around Port Harcourt. This he further said will strengthen the existing relationship among the Services.

He stressed the importance of collaborative efforts in military operations, adding that it is critical in mitigating security challenges and ensuring stability in a joint operations area.
