Rear Admiral Hamza Kaoje has assumed office as the new Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (GMD/CEO), Navy Holdings Limited (NHL).
This was sequel to the redeployment and reshuffle of appointments of Nigerian Navy top senior officers comprising 56 Rear Admirals and a Commodore on 27th June 2023.
The new GMD/CEO took over command today, 4 July 2023 from Rear Admiral Sileranda Lassa at a brief ceremony held at Navy Holdings Limited (NHL), Abuja.
Prior to his appointment, Rear Admiral Kaoje was the Director Equipment Standardisation and Harmonisation at the Defence Headquarters.
Navy Holdings Limited (NHL) was established on 15 June 2012 as a private Limited Liability Company. It is duly registered with Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja, Nigeria. NHL commenced operations in 2013 at its corporate headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria.
SpyeTV news reports that the objective of NHL is to achieve efficiency in service delivery, to effectively coordinate and consolidate internally generated revenues of all NHL subsidiary companies for better accountability, as well as to foster effective management and ease of administration.
