"Maintain Highest Level of Vigilance"- CAS Tasks Troops

The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Hassan Bala Abubakar, has tasked the troops of Air Component Operation HANDARI DAJI to maintain highest level of vigilance, keep up the good fight against bandits in the North West in the collective effort to ensure peace and security in Nigeria.

Director of Public Relations & Information, Air Commodore Ayodele Famuyiwa in a press statement on Friday nited that, AVM Abubakar made the call yesterday while in Katsina to celebrate the Eid-El-Kabir festival with the troops.

“I implore you all to keep up the good fight and continue to work together assiduously to ensure that they maintain highest level of vigilance  CAS said. 

He assured the troops that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) under his leadership will remain committed to providing the Air Component with the necessary logistics and welfare to supportlĺ the operation, while appreciating the troops and families for their sacrifices and devotion to Nigeria. 

In the same vein, the Katsina State Government has shown appreciation to the troops for their efforts towards combating banditry in the state. 

The troops were joined at the luncheon by the Deputy Governor, Hon Faruk Lawal Jobe, who represented the Executive Governor, Dr Dikko Umar Radda.
