In a significant development and as part of the Geo-Strategic Study Tour, Team 1 of the Army War College Nigeria (AWCN) had the opportunity to visit the Uganda Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs.
The delegation, led by Major General Bamidele Alabi, the Commandant AWCN and also the Exercise Director, was warmly received by the Joint Chief of Staff, Major General Leopold Kyanda, who represented the Chief of Defence Forces, General Wilson Mbasu Mbadi, at the Ministry of Defence.
The visit to the Uganda Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairsmarked another successful engagement for Team 1 of the AWCN during their Geo-Strategic Study Tour.
It will provide them with a unique opportunity to broaden their understanding of regional dynamics and gain insights into Uganda's operational strategies.
In another development, as part of their Geo-Strategic Study Tour, the participants of Course 7/2023 of the Army War College Nigeria (AWCN) had the privilege of visiting the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces.
Led by Brigadier General UM Alkali, the Deputy Commandant/Director of Studies AWCN, the delegation was warmly welcomed by General Abdelkrim Nejjar.
The overall aim of the visit is to provide the participants with a valuable opportunity to expand their knowledge, foster cooperation in the realm of geo-strategic studies and exchange experiences in the field of military strategy and operations.
It will further strengthen the bonds between the Nigerian and Moroccan military institutions, laying the foundation for future collaborative endeavours in the interest of regional peace and security.
