The Commander, Infantry Corps and Immediate Past Theatre Commander Operation HADIN KAI, Major General Christopher Musa has commended the Commandant ASPT for the giant stride in remodelling and Improving on training facilities in the School for NA troops fitness needed for contemporary security challenges bedeviling the country.
General Musa gave the commendation when he paid a Courtesy Visit to Army School of Physical Training Zaria(ASPT), on Thursday 9 March 2023, as part of his familiarisation visit to unit and formation within his area of responsibility.
The 15 Commander Infantry Corp stated that he was in Zaria to once again familiarize himself with all the formations in Zaria and also to seek areas for possible Synergy.
He lauded the leadership of the Commandant Army School of Physical Training, Brigadier General Abdulraheem Bello over the Construction of first of it kind in the world, the highest rappelling Tower in Africa and Asian and the 5 tallest in the world.
The Corp commander said he was amazed with the Transformation strides, introduction of innovative equipment in Army School of Physical Training Zaria in recent times.
In the same vein General Musa used the medium to appreciate the COAS Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya for providing all the necessary resources needed in carrying out all the developmental projects witnessed in the school.
He assured the School Commandant of total support from the Infantry Corp Headquarters and urged them to keep on doing its best in ensuring that NA troops achieved the maximum fitness needed for contemporary security challenges bedeviling the country.
Responding, the Commandant Army School of Physical Training, Brigadier General Abdulraheem Bello thanked the infantry Corp Commander for the visit and assured him of more improvement in training of troops towards achieving the Chief of Army staff, Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya's Vision.
