The Defence Health Maintenance Limited has assured the troops of the Nigerian Armed Forces of a good, qualitative and quantitative health care services on full registration of their membership and that of their dependents.
The Oyo State Manager, Defence Health Maintenance Limited (DHML), Lieutenant Colonel PO Matemilola (rtd) gave the assurance when he paid a courtesy visit to the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 2 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Gold Chibuisi, noting that the health care of the troops serving and retired is key and top most priority among its services.
Lieutenant Colonel Matemilola pointed out that despite the various challenges faced by the agency ranging from lack of proper office accommodation, to low capitation and fee for service disbursed to it by the Defence Headquarters, the management is poised to deliver a better health care services to its contributors.
The State Manager called for the englightenment of troops and their dependents on the services of the agency and the benefits derivable on registration.
He further requested for the assistance of the Division in tackling the various challenges militating against its services in the state.
Responding, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 2 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Gold Chibuisi commended the Agency for its numerous services as it has brought succour to the health system of the Armed Forces and relative succour to its contributors and their dependants.
He assured the Agency of the Divisions readiness to assist at alleviating the various challenges confronting its smooth services in the state, as well as continuous enligthment of troops on the services of the Agency.
