Atleast two Boko Haram/Islamic State of the West African Province(ISWAP) terrorists were neutralized on Friday in an encounter with Nigerian troops of Operation Hadin Kai in Gamborun Ngala local government area of Borno State.

Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert report that the troops successfully killed three of the terrorists after a gunbattle while one Civilian JTF personnel was injured.
It was gathered that the troops in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force(CJTF), came in contact with some insurgents during fighting patrol.
Two riffles belonging to the terrorists were recovered.
