Tayo Marcus on Sunday declared his intention to run for a seat in the State House of Assembly to represent the good people of Ondo West Constituency 1 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Marcus made the declaration in Ondo City in the company of his wife, leaders of APC in Ondo, House of Representatives member Honourable Makinde, religious leaders, traditional rulers, and party members in Ondo.
In his speech, Marcus said, "Peace is predicated on Justice, equity and fairness. I trust that the leadership and delegates of our party, APC will consider merit, acceptability and electural value in the selection of flagbearers to fly the ticket of APC in the forthcoming National and State House of Assembly elections.
"As a true son of the soil who has lived over forty years of his life among his people, and without sounding immodest too, I am sufficiently aware of the socio-economic challenges facing our people and our community.
He added that, "Barriers broken. History made. Legacy built. It's a testimony of destiny recovered, hope renewed and assured future. It can only be God."
Marcus pleaded Ondo West Constituency tp join hands with him in making his dream a reality and making the Constituency great again.
He thanked Friends of Marcus, Team Tayo Marcus, National Association of Nigerian Students', NANS JCC, Ondo State, All Marcus Support Groups, Friends of Marcus, Diaspora, Management, Staff and Students, Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo City, Civil Societies, Marco Think Thank, Keke of Africa, Ekimogun Youth Groups, Com. Dele Omotayo (Dele Kenko), and Igwe London (PDP Stalwart).
