NAOWA President Commissions New Classrooms, Donates Digital Duplicator, Computer System, Palliatives in Kaduna

The President Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association,  Mrs Salamatu F Yahaya on Friday commissioned additional fully furnished block of 5 Classrooms at NAOWA Nursery and Primary School Ribadu Cantonment Kaduna.

This is in the drive to standardize and strengthen NAOWA Institutions.

Mrs Salamatu Yahaya commended the Chairperson NAOWA 1 Division Mrs Jamila KI Muktar for ensuring that the project was completed within a short period of time, and also expressed appreciation for the high quality of work done. 

Mrs Salamatu Yahaya remarked that the classrooms were constructed to provide additional space to accommodate more pupils and also to enhance learning activities. 

NAOWA President therefore supported the efforts of NAOWA 1 Division of standardizing NAOWA assets by donating a Unit of Digital Duplicator, Computer System and other office equipment to the School.

While acknowledging the efforts of past NAOWA leaders for putting strong foundation for NAOWA schools, the president noted that presently NAOWA has adopted an energetic approach towards standardizing of all her institutions through structural development, staff training, adequate resource management and provision of state-of-the-art equipment for her schools.

Also, by way of showing appreciation to the staff of NAOWA Nursery and Primary School Ribadu Cantonment for putting in their best in providing quality services in the School, the President donated some palliatives materials which include food items, other household items and cash gift.

In her remarks, the Chairperson NAOWA 1Division Mrs Jamila KI Muktar appreciated the NAOWA President for providing quality leadership guidance and uplifting the general status of NAOWA. The Chairperson added that, NAOWA 1 Division was able to achieve this feat with the support and guidance of the NAOWA President. She also appreciated the contributions of her husband and other supporting officers of the Division for ensuring the completion of the project.

Other highlights of the occasion include inspection of facility, presentation of souvenirs, group photograph amongst others.
